Random Axis Bio

Established in 1989, Random Axis Band has proven to be the most versatile ensemble in North Texas. The eight member band features an amazing seven vocalists, both male and female. Random Axis' play list culls from contemporary dance hits by artists such as Santana, Beyonc, Peter Gabriel, U2, Maroon 5, The Cure, Sheryl Crow, No Doubt, John Mayer; Classic 60's Rock and Soul by Aretha Franklin, The Temptations and Van Morrison; 70's Disco medleys from The Bee Gees, Kool & The Gang, Donna Summer and Earth Wind & Fire; Country hits by Garth Brooks, Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, and Dwight Yoakum; Big Band, Combo Jazz and Jazz Fusion from The Glenn Miller Band to Miles Davis to Kirk Whalum.

Booking Random Axis

With more than 14 years in the Dallas music scene, Random Axis Band is able to tailor their set lists for any client or function. The band regularly plays for corporate groups and wedding receptions, large and small. Random Axis Band performs weekly at venues such as Memphis Club; Down Under Pub & Grub; Cool River, and other area clubs. Random Axis Band has jammed onstage with jazz saxophone great Joe Lovano (and his wife, Judi Silvano); rock legends Mick Fleetwood and Greg Allman, and has opened concerts by Bruce Hornsby, Tower of Power, Allman Brothers Band, Willie Nelson, The Commodores, Taylor Dayne, Tracy Byrd, George Strait, Neil McCoy, Steve Wariner, Tracy Lawrence, The Spinners and the Temptations. Wedding clients include actress Angie Harmon and football player Jason Seahorn.
